How to Find the Best Autoresponder

By

The most popular autoresponders out there are getresponse, aweber, and constantcontact but just because they are the most popular shouldn't imply that they are the best autoresponder. Choosing the right autoresponder that will suit your needs and help you effectively communicate to your list is basically dependent largely on what you hope to get from your permission based marketing.

In this hub, I intend to show you how to find the best autoresponder for you.

What are you looking for?

The first thing you should ask yourself is what do you hope to expect with your autoresponder service?

For instance, if you are looking for a service that can be effortlessly integrated into a wordpress theme (in a widget), then there are a variety of email services you can choose from.

Is your list going to be used primarily for commercial purposes?

Another thing to consider is whether your autoresponder will be used to generate a list solely to sell things. It is important that you look at the terms & services of your service to make sure that you are compliant with what they say you should use it for.

For example, some list building services will forbid you to use their service if you are promoting network marketing opportunities. Others are designed exclusively for MLM list builders. Knowing what you can and can't do according to their terms will help prevent problems from occuring later on down the line.

What are you hoping to achieve?

Be for real with yourself.  While it is true that the money is in the list, understand that list building from scratch can take time.  And while you may see the ads that claim that they can teach you how to build your list from 0 to thousands in days or weeks, the reality is unless you spend a little money pushing it (via ppc) or a lot of time promoting (using article marketing strategies), chances are you will be building your list 1 person at a time.

Permission marketing can be a fun way to make money but the reality is that it is a lot harder than simply gathering names and shoving offers down their throats.
